Forest Bluff Farm has been in operation in Hunterdon County, NJ for over 25 years as a family farm. Finnsheep and Icelandic/Finn cross lambs and sheep are available, as well as some Cashgora kid goats (Angora/Cashmere cross) as breeding stock, pets, and companion animals. Skirted raw fleeces, yarn, washed carded wool, and roving are also available for crafting or spinning. Also on the farm are our guard animals, Rosalie the donkey, and Winnie the hinny.
Finn and Cashgora skirted raw fleeces, as well as 100% Finnsheep yarn, and washed, carded Finn wool and roving are available by mail, at our farm by request, and at the Garden State Sheep Breeders Festival in Ringoes, NJ on September 12-13, 2026 (njsheep.net). We have a wide selection of yarn colors, weights and textures to serve your knitting, crocheting and crewel passions! Finished samples are available to demonstrate what is possible with these fleeces. Roving and carded wool are great for handspinning or felting projects. We can provide an update on our scrapie resistance breeding program which anticipates fully resistant (RR) Finn lambs being available for sale by Spring 2026. We also have local honey and beeswax available from Bamboozled Bee Yard in Readington Township, NJ, and Orange Door Acres in Clinton Township, NJ. Come to the Festival to see all the different sheep breeds, shearing, spinning & sheepdog demos, and the works of many woolcrafting vendors!

Continuing Hunterdon County's rural history, Forest Bluff Farm has been a source for livestock and wool, as well as animal appreciation and education for over 25 years. Breeding programs have focused on developing fine quality Cashgora fiber goats, and scrapie resistance in Finn sheep. We have worked with the community, students and educators to provide resources and experiences to heighten the understanding of, connection with, and dependence on farms, nature and the environment.
